Linux and the Cloud

Another area where the Linux kernel is being widely used is Cloud computing. Each providers (Amazon AWS, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure,...) offer Linux distros that can be deployed or deleted as needed.

A report from 2017 states that the Linux Kernel is being used in 90% of the public cloud.
